At the Surfside Hotel, we are in the business of hospitality and it is always our top priority to provide everyone the best possible care in our hotel, as well as to ensure the health and safety of our guests, employees and our community. Regardless of current events, based on what we do for a living, we already keep our facilities super sanitary. We all have people we care about, including you, and we understand the sense of concern in the communities we serve and what our responsibilities are to keep everyone safe.
The city, state, and national safety measures we follow mean that some of our services and amenities may differ from what is listed online. Guests should review state and local government orders for potential COVID-19 lodging restrictions. Please know that whatever the circumstances, we will ensure your Surfside experience and wellbeing is never compromised.
At full capacity The Surfside is only 28 rooms so, even when full, it's likely that you will see less people at The Surfside than you would at the grocery store.
FOLLOWING CDC PROTOCOLS
We follow all CDC guidelines and recommendations on sanitation and protection. These include sanitizing rooms between guests, sanitizing common areas, sanitizing touch points, and wearing masks and PPP as appropriate.
HOUSEKEEPING
To keep personal contact at a minimum, in room housekeeping during your stay is by request only. We are happy to make up your room during your stay if you desire.
In addition to regular linen changes (sheets, pillowcases, duvet covers, and towels)
pillows and duvets are also washed.
Room surfaces (tables, chairs, etc.) and touch points (light switches, SurfPod™ clock radio, door handles, etc..) are sanitized between guests.
Room service orders and guest requests can be delivered to your door, without our team having to enter guest-rooms, if desired. Likewise, food and drinks in our restaurant have a to-go option.
To increase airflow, all room HVAC units operate in air circulation mode when room is not occupied.
CONTACTLESS CHECK IN/CHECK OUT
We are happy to welcome you in person, but for guests that prefer contactless check in we are also offering contactless check in/check out via Bluetooth Key.
AIR PURIFICATION/STERILIZATION
To sterilize and purify the air in corridors, lobby, and the restaurant we have installed Global Plasma Solutions bipolar ionization devices in all common area HVAC units.
Global Plasma Solution’s Bipolar ionization technology is used in Hospitals and Schools to purify the air and knock out Coronaviruses and a host of other nasty pathogens, allergens, mold spores, etc.
